General rules governing VASUG conferences:Handouts and Other DisplaysOnly vendors that have been officially invited by VASUG may display product descriptions or place material on the designated "goodie table". All displays and handouts should be approved before the conference. Any VASUG officer is authorized to approve vendor displays. Authorized speakers and poster presenters are urged to distribute supplemental information to interested audience members. Handouts may not include price lists, support commitments, promotional data, or other descriptions of a sales nature, but should instead give the author’s name and contact information for those that desire further information. All materials should be approved before the session. Any VASUG officer is authorized to approve these materials. RecruitingNo formal, direct recruiting of personnel may be conducted at any VASUG event. Companies may list positions available on the VASUG web site. PresentationsA working draft and abstract of each paper should be submitted as described in the Call for Papers and approved by the VASUG officers. The paper (oral and written versions) may not include price lists, support commitments, promotional data, or other descriptions of a sales nature. It should include the author’s name, address and website for additional information. A corresponding written version of your presentation is much appreciated, though not required. Before the conference if possible, and in any case by one week after the conference, please email your presentation slides and written version of your paper, if available, to the VASUG webmaster for inclusion in our online Proceedings. Paper Content Users are urged to present papers describing real-world applications using SAS products, though VASUG also welcomes theoretical and overview papers of general interest. Papers describing systems used in conjunction with SAS products and papers comparing SAS products with other products are also welcome. All papers should be somehow connected to the use of SAS.
